I’ll Take (A) Manhattan on New Year’s Eve

The Manhattan cocktail traces back to the late 1800s and its origin at New York City’s Manhattan Club. The original recipe has remained largely unchanged, however, while the traditional version uses rye whiskey, with its spicy, peppery notes, many prefer the touch of sweetness that bourbon has to offer.

RumChata Drink Lab

For our first drink lab of 2022, we’ll crack open the bottle of RumChata that we got for Christmas. I’ve found two RumChata cocktail recipes to try and compare. First is the Coconut Café au Lait, using Kahlua and Malibu Coconut Rum. The second recipe is a RumChata White Russian made with vodka and Kahlua.
